Bobby the Bobcat

It’s Bobby again. Boy is it raining here at Wildworks! I’ve been holed up in my denbox all day watching it all because, if you’re a bobcat, there are few things worse than getting your paws wet. Especially after what my paws have been through!  Did you know that I recently had declaw repair surgery? What a relief.  My paws are practically pain-free now.

While I’m curled up here waiting for the sun to shine I wanted to tell you about a really important Wildworks event. It’s happening on Sunday, March 14 at 2 pm at Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. Lee Stetson will be performing as John Muir in “John Muir Among the Animals” and there will be Wildworks birds and animals there so if you go you can see them up close and personal.  Mollie asked me to stay home to watch over the place so I won’t be there but I’m sure I’ll hear all about it.  Actually, I’m glad I’m staying home because Mollie’s gonna sing at the event. Honestly, I don’t like it when she sings. Don’t tell her I said so but it sounds a lot like Trickster and Mesa the coyotes when they howl.  Really hurts my large pointed ears. But you might like it , ya never know, and I know Mollie would really like to see you there. So Save the Date! 

My fur is soaked so I’ll catch ya later….Maybe tomorrow.

It’s Bobby. Most of you probably know who I am but just in case we haven’t met I’ll fill you in. I’m one of the bobcats that lives at The Nature of Wildworks care center. I’m the biggest one–actually I’m huge–and the most beautiful. That’s just my opinion, of course, but I’m almost always right. Now that I have my own blog I’m going to be keeping you updated on what’s happening here at Wildworks. So stay tuned for more bobcat news. Catch ya later–if ya know what I mean.
